PROPHETESS MRS. GRACE MENSAH (GHANA HAS ITS OWN MOTHER THERESA): THE STORY OF A LIFE TO THE SERVICE OF GOD, THE PEOPLE OF GHANA, AND HUMAN KIND.

Born in on 31st December 1923 by OPANYIN KWESI AMOAH and MAME AFUA FOTWIWA, Grace AMOAH was the ninth child out of the 15 children of her parents. She spent her childhood at EJYIRKROM in the Central Region with her parents where she had her first encounter with the Lord as a stranger Fulani from Niger met her parents and advised them to send Grace to school and to buy a Bible for her. But Auntie Grace couldn't further her studies beyond elementary school due to the charges required to cater for all the children of her parents.
Her passion and love for God was not fully expressed until 1948 when she got married to PAPA John Mensah, a devoted farmer who later won twice the GHANA BEST FARMER AWARDS in 1999 and 2004 (champion of champions 2nd round up). In their youth, the couple travelled throughout various locations in Ghana and Ivory Coast because Auntie Grace was then a trader. She lived many years in north Ivory Coast where she developed a special love and passion for the francophone communities whom she loved and worked with till she passed away.
The life of the woman of God took a difficult turn as she tried to resist her calling, being attached to her business. She encountered many challenges with her husband as she tried to escape her divine destiny (like Jonah).
However, when she understood and embraced freely her calling, Mummy Grace was used mightily by the Lord to bring supernatural solutions and healing in the life of multitude. She served initially under the Church of Pentecost from 1954, before God instructed her to establish a Prayer and Healing Center; what she did in 1972 with the support of her husband Papa John Mensah. The ministry started in the small house of her husband. But, God honored her obedience and the Heavenly Ministry, also known as EDUMFA PRAYER CAMP has moved to a new and bigger site which has gradually developed into a city of tens of hectares with modern buildings and infrastructures for accommodation, spiritual and material healing and recovery. Auntie Grace funds her ministry with various incomes including her immense farms (cocoa, sugar cane, palm, plantain, orange, cassava, coconut etc).
Edumfa Prayer Camp is the most popular Prayer Camp in Ghana and the sub-region. All visitors and patients are accommodated free of charge in the modern infrastructures of the Camp, and provided daily spiritual and physical treatment until total recovery. Mummy Grace also provides financial support to visitors who are facing financial challenges.
Every day, visitors from all over Ghana, Africa and the world, visit Edumfa to get healing and solutions to their various challenges. The only method of Auntie Grace is prayer to God through our Lord Jesus Christ for divine intervention. Thousands testified along the years including statesmen/women, clergymen/women, businessmen/women etc. The notoriety of Mrs. Grace Mensah has crossed the borders of Ghana and Africa to Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA.
Many cases of incurable diseases such as AIDS, cancer etc. were healed through the ministration of Auntie Grace. Also, thousands of families, businesses, ministries etc. were restored and revived by God through her servant as people visit Edumfa Prayer Camp.
More than a simple citizen and minister of the Gospel, Mrs. Grace Mensah has become a National Figure who is the pride of Ghana all over the world.
Auntie Grace devoted over 58 years of her life to the service of God and her nation; she left a heritage to the coming generations. This legacy should be considered as a National Heritage; it must be preserved and developed. Her material heritage (infrastructures and children) has to be honored and valued, and her Spiritual Legacy (spiritual mantle and gifts) must be preserved and developed by the subsequent generations.
