A BRIEF ON FAMILY LIFE
He is not only outstanding with farming, but also in shouldering family responsibilities. Mr Quayenor is married to four with sixteen children.
“I just hate being an infidel” was his attempted explanation for being polygamous. He attested things being very difficult at the very beginning. But strategically, he invested into more farm lands… and ensured that homes were made available on each farm for his four wives together with their children. Whatever the proceed each made from her farm; they (the wife and children) lived on for a period of time.
The hardworking and affable man has also succeeded in educating his children to the highest level one can ever think of. Two of his children are graduates of no mean universities than The Regional Maritime University Ghana, and Liverpool University, UK.

The feat of his children’s education he revealed came at a price. On many occasions have his then clay built apartment been pulled down. He would forgo any decision of investing his hard earned money into re-building, but the education of his children. Not even the mockery of his fellow natives could deter him.
Such zeal to educate his children to the highest level was developed during his working days as a seaman. He recounted several ill-treatments he did suffered in the hands of some Korean engineers on-board the vessel he worked on. From such experiences; he vowed to educate his children to any level possible.
Mr Quayenor admonition the youth against what he termed the “deadly four”… womanizing, smoking; merry making eccentric friendships and drinking.
For his exemplary life of handwork and love for education, he is the current Chairman of his community’s school, The Nanka Asuom D/A School Management committee.
